Objectives and Scope

Facing this challenge, the Basque Chair of Competitiveness at Shanghai has designed a first class international programme with the collaboration of two exceptional institutions: China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and Orkestra-Instituto Vasco de Competitividad (IVC). The objectives of the course are:

• To provide tools and notions which facilitate the analysis of competitiveness in/from China
• To gain a deep understanding on personal, firm, and institutional relationships in China
• To learn from Basque institutions and firm networks operating  “in/from” China
   

At the end of the course, the participant in this programme should be able:

• To understand a competitiveness framework for the context of China
• To create competitiveness-based strategies and plans to succeed in/from China
• To blend Chinese and Basque experiences by learning from market players and leaders
• To apply a “glokal mindset” for strategic thinking
